Secure Mobile Infrastructure Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Design, configure, and test complex computing architecture with a focus on virtualized infrastructure comprised of both Windows and Linux servers. Develop technical documentation and conduct information system security testing for appropriate security risk management processes using security assessment and technical testing efforts to identify and patch vulnerabilities. Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on Windows and Linux server operating systems. Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of data center design best practices, rackmount equipment installation and maintenance, and cable management, network attached storage, direct attached storage, and storage protocols, including NFS and iSCSI. Apply knowledge of security standards, including Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) to ensure compliance with security requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with installing and configuring Windows domains

-Experience with setting up virtual infrastructure using VMware vCenter and vSphere on ESXi hosts

-Experience with setting up and configuring Linux servers, including scripting and automation

-Experience with hardening Windows servers, Linux servers, and VMware using DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Experience with analyzing network traffic with tools, including Wireshark or TCPDump

-Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities

-Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Security+ CE

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in classified spaces to implement solutions

-Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices

-Experience with developing CSfC solutions and supporting the ongoing maturation of CSfC capability packages

-Knowledge of the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capability packages

-Ability to independently initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks, as identified

-Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients

-VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, or similar certifications preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
