General Dynamics Information Technology Supervisor, Field Engineering in Chesapeake, Virginia
Supervises the installation, maintenance, and servicing of electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment at company and customer sites.
Supervises employees engaged in the Installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshooting, modification, construction and testing of various types of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.
Typically supervises non-exempt Field Technicians.
Develops schedules and assigns work to meet critical customer deadlines.
Ensures that proper records and other documentation are maintained.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5-8 years of directly related experience supporting engineering operations, including supervisory experience.
