About the Agency
The selectee for this position will serve as an ENGINEERING DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST; DS-0301-04 in the RESEARCH & ENGINEERING GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
- Plan, develop, acquire, and manage data required for operations in support of ordnance test and evaluation.
- Develop data elements associated with Division's quality assurance program.
- Directing, developing and implementing quality assurance policies
- Implementing quality control practices, principles, methods, techniques, and discipline during support of ordnance test and evaluation
- Gathering data to track discrepancies, preparing trend charts, and facilitating discussions with personnel at financial or QA meetings
- Reviewing documentation (test plans, test procedures, test reports, failure reporting, analysis, corrective action control, etc.) for completeness with respect to the requirements of the Division's quality assurance program. These duties will be accomplished with database management, configuration identification, change control, and status accounting.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1.) Planning, developing and acquiring data required for operations in support of ordnance test and evaluation; 2.) Directing, developing and implementing quality assurance policies; 3.) Implementing quality control practices, principles and methods in support of ordnance test and evaluation; 4.) Reviewing documentation (test plans, test procedures, test reports, failure reporting, analysis, corrective action control, etc.) for completeness in accordance with quality assurance program.
