Job Description

The SEG Threat Model Development and Products Team is seeking enthusiastic candidates to support, develop, and maintain databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide data management support to users

  • Modify database according to requests

  • Solve database usage issues and malfunctions

  • Comply with data integrity and security policies

  • Design and develop complex queries and reports to retrieve required data

  • Build and maintain large database infrastructures as well as develop code to access and reduce the data

Required Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

  • BS or BA degree in relevant field; plus 4-6 years work experience

  • Proven work experience as a database developer

  • Hands on experience with SQL/MySQL

  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, Big Data infrastructure, Hadoop or other Big Data engines (working experience preferred)

  • Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML, PHP and Oracle

  • Ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude

  • Knowledgeable of server applications when designing a database

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
