TIBCO Spotfire Engineering is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our infrastructure team in Gothenburg.
The focus of this team is to create tools and develop infrastructure to facilitate our product teams to move faster and deliver value to our customers quicker through our release channels.
The job holder will be expected to perform the following:-
Manage and provide direction for a team of 6 infrastructure engineers based out of our Gothenburg office
Work with a global extended team spread across multiple time zones handling configuration management, deployment pipelines and other engineering infrastructure
Work closely with all our product teams through our planning process and facilitate maintaining and enhancing our engineering infrastructure to move towards enabling continuous delivery and our Cloud based release channels
Interface on a daily basis with our Cloud Operations and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering teams
Experience with cloud services, deployment automation (Continuous Integration, Build infrastructure automation, Scripting in various languages, AWS Technologies)
Willingness to work with key stakeholders in multiple time zones US east coast, US west coast, India) on a daily basis
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with several key stake holders and help evangelize Dev Ops and Continuously delivery principles
Ability to manage a team in pressured situations
Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s strongly preferred)
Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
3-5 years of documented experience of managing staff / personnel responsibilities
5+ year experience working as a team or project manager,
Proven experience in multiple roles within software development
