RESPONSIBILITIES: 'Take ownership of test and characterization activities to deliver customer-facing test reports and customer samples 'Work independently to complete projects given high-level goals with minimal supervision 'Plan tasks and responsibilities for technicians. Oversee progress relative to plans 'Train and support technicians in the execution of test procedures 'Develop and maintain metrology integrity for all test benches 'Develop RFIC characterization infrastructure such as noise measurements and load pull benches 'Setup and execute various RF, microwave and mm-wave device measurements, including DC, S-parameter, pulsed I-V, pulsed S-parameter, noise parameter, load-pull, and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements 'Design, set up, and verify test systems and software automation for various measurements; execute the measurements, and/or guide engineering technicians to execute the measurements 'Process, verify, and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports 'Specify and procure components and equipment needed to deliver characterization data such as spectrum analyzers, cables, connectors, probe stations, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: 'BSEE required; MSEE preferred 'Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in RF and microwave measurements 'Ability to work independently, investigate, and solve problems 'Good multi-tasking skills 'Strong verbal and written communication skills 'Proficiency with RF and microwave test equipment 'Understanding of RF characterization metrology and measurement uncertainty 'Familiarity with Windows, at least one programming language, data manipulation, and data analysis 'Familiarity with RF & microwave circuit design 'Prefer familiarity with EDA programs such as Agilent ADS MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVO We are Qorvo.
