Under minimal supervision, travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services throughout a healthcare facility, as required or requested. Responsibilities Include: •Travels between customer facilities providing on-site engineering control testing, certification, environmental monitoring, decontamination and repair/maintenance services, as required or requested. •Maintains a rigid service schedule. •Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled. •Creates / maintains customer relationships while providing customers with guidance and recommendations. •Performs other related duties as required or requested.
•Education equivalent to graduation from high school, or GED. •Three or more years experience as an Engineering Specialist I preferred. •Must possess NSF certification or have a minimum of 5 years specializing in maintenance services. •Must possess or be capable of obtaining medical clearance for respirator use. •Must possess reliable transportation to travel between customer facilities. •May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements. •Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner; listen to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions. •Demonstrates the ability to identify and understand customer needs; takes appropriate actions to ensure customer needs are met and proactively searches of ways to increase customer satisfaction, •Demonstrates the ability to persist with a specific course of action. Must be willing to commit the necessary time and effort to complete work assignments and do a quality job. •Demonstrates the ability to be self-motivated and work independently. •Demonstrates strong networking and relationship building skills and proven consultative selling experience. •Demonstrates strong scientific / mathematical / technical skills. •Demonstrates strong customer service communication skills. •Demonstrates above average mechanical aptitude.
