MTA is currently recruiting for a Telecommunications/Network Technician to join our Palmer, Alaska team. Responsibilities include performing work required in connection with the planning, maintenance, repair, testing, installation, monitoring, provisioning and servicing Juniper/Redback routers, Brocade switches, Adtran TA-series, Metaswitch, DMS10/100, Accedian Metronids/nodes, OCCMs, and Overture/Hatteras. Experience on all platforms is preferred, but not mandatory. Work includes, but is not limited to technologies/protocols such as Digital Central offices, Carrier Systems, Radio Networks, SONET, Carrier Class Ethernet, TCP/IP, Optical Add/Drop Terminals, CWDM/DWDM Terminals, HPBX, MPLS, ATM, and DSL.
