Iasis Healthcare Environmental Services Supervisor - FT in Phoenix, Arizona
Performs cleaning in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Responsible for cleanliness of entire facility. Scheduling employee work schedule, quality Inspections, reassigns workloads. Makes sure all areas are covered 100% of the time. Assists the Housekeeping Manager in completing performance evaluations. Conducts orientation and ongoing training for departmental personnel to include; new equipment, new policies and procedures. In addition to recording training of new employees and retraining of existing staff. Performs other duties as requested and/or assigned.
At least two - five years experience in housekeeping. Experience in the hotel or hospital management/supervision preferred.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. High School diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees.
- Must have basic housekeeping knowledge. Hospital experience preferred.
- Must satisfy requirement of pre-employment physical, medium work; exerting 20 to 60 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
