Kelly Services has partnered with a Leading Financial Organization in Rancho Cordova, CA seeking a Software Team Lead III to be responsible for managing a functional development team and projects. This role is responsible for overall system architecture for the various technologies that our business uses. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a broad range of responsibilities as well as some hands-on technical work.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute on both the product roadmap and technical strategy for all assigned areas of responsibility. Develop and execute on project plans for all assigned areas of responsibility; manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, with high quality, and as-requested by the business customer. Provide direct supervision and leadership to a team of .Net developers. Perform people management activities including employee development, performance management, distribution of work assignments, leave authorization, and inter/intra team issue resolution. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle (design, implement, test, document and deploy). Research, learn, evaluate and make technology recommendations for all assigned areas of responsibility. Work with project manager to plan and produce deliverables in a very short time frame. Work with QA manager and QA leads to ensure quality hand offs from development to QA, and ensuring overall product quality. Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation and other deliverables. Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to and establish standards including ongoing improvements to internal coding standards. Participate in peer code reviews.

Education/Experience

B.S. or M.S in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience with at least nine years in an IT organization, with at least 3 years as a team lead or IT manager. At least 3 years professional experience leading the delivery of complex software solutions. At least 9-10 years professional experience with C# 4.0+ with excellent programming skills. LINQ and Entity Framework knowledge is required (actual experience is a plus). Excellent ASP.NET 4.0+ skills. Strong Web Services skills including experience with XML; solid understanding of SOA concepts. Strong SQL Server 2012 and T-SQL programming skills. Strong client side skills including XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of source control tools such as Subversion, GIT, or TFS. Well-versed in relevant methodology, processes, tools and technology standards and can effectively chose relevant parts needed for the project. Superior trouble-shooting and analytical skills in conjunction with a structured, systematic approach to problem solving. Strong analytical/problem solving skills; proven leadership skills. Ability to work with all levels of staff and management, as well as with external vendors. Solid experience with various development methodologies, including Agile / SCRUM. Previous hands-on professional experience in all phases of the SDLC (requirements through testing); solid technical background, especially around relational databases, client-server and web applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Thrive working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to be flexible, multi-task, and prioritize multiple requests and projects. Experience in the mortgage industry, either with forward or reverse mortgages Experience with loan origination software. Experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap.
