Job Overview We seek a passionate engineer with in-depth knowledge on camera 3A algorithm design to join the Camera Systems team. The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Research and development for camera 3A features

  • Prototype solutions on mobile platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes

  • Deployment of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience

  • Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.

Minimum Qualifications Industry experiences in the following areas:

  • Signal, image and color processing

  • Camera 3A algorithm design

  • CMOS sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing

  • C, C++, Matlab

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHD Degree preferred

  • Prefer candidate to have strong color science background with ability to optimize color rendering process

  • Candidates should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills along with strong coding background

  • Track record of driving ideas from design through commercialization

Education Requirements Required: Master's, Imaging/Color Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field

Preferred: Doctorate, Imaging/Color Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or related field
