Job Description

Provide assistance with the daily operations of the corporate network and all IT systems on site and remotely support of our Sales force.

The following are intended to be examples of the accountabilities for which the person in this position is responsible.   • Assist in deploying and managing network devices, client/server computers and various application systems, including smart phones (Blackberry, IPhone, etc.).

  • Provide all essential network services and helpdesk support for our users on site and remotely. Troubleshoot all software and hardware issues.

  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned, including reception relief

  • This position interacts with all levels of personnel in of the company.

  • Regular and reliable attendance

Required Skills

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.

  • Professional certification in IT preferred

  • Good communication skills

  • The ability to interface with varying personal styles in an effective way

  • Good judgment, tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers

  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Effectiveness in this role requires a functional knowledge of hardware and software systems, policies and procedures and a general understanding of the organization’s structure and objectives

  • The job encounters semi-routine work situations with limited variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity

  • Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position.

  • Initiative and organization skills are extremely valuable to ensure a smooth operation

  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs

  • Occasional local travel may be required

  • Must be flexible work varied schedule and hours as needed.

Required Experience

  • Requires specific hands-on knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Network administration experience in a Windows-based network.

  • Experience diagnosing PC computer hardware issues

  • Installation, deployment, manage and troubleshooting of Windows XP client workstations.

  • Mac OS is a plus.

  • DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and related technologies.

  • File sharing and printer publishing in a Microsoft domain.

  • Enterprise antivirus solution, backup practice and procedur
