CH2M Hazardous Materials Management System Database Technician – Oklahoma City, OK in Tinker AFB, Oklahoma
Support CH2M’s database management operations at Tinker Air Force Base and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.
As a Database Management technician, you will have the chance to administratively assist CH2M and Tinker AFB in evaluating process authorizations respective Technical Order (TO) Numbers and Weapons Platforms within the material's justification in Enterprise Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (EESOH-MIS). The minimum qualifications for this position are:
This position requires high school diploma (college degree is not required).
Knowledge of EESOH-MIS or similar Oracle-based data management systems and demonstrated proficiency using a personal computer/workstation.
Basic understanding of safety data sheets (SDSs) information.
Basic chemistry (such as completion of college level freshman chemistry) including chemical formulas, units of measure, etc.
Attention to detail and ability to train end-users on EESOH-MIS.
1 year or more of professional office work experience Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required. This position is full-time (5 days per week; 8 hours per day during normal business hours). US citizen and ability to obtain a USAF contractor identification badge Ability to do field audits as needed
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
In addition to the qualifications required for this role. The preferred candidate would also have one or more of the following:
1-2 years of experience with hazardous material management system (HMMS)
College education or degree
Relational database experience
Local to Oklahoma City / Tinker AFB area already
Current or previous security clearance
