Civil Engineering Operations Analyst, Senior
Key Role:Support the deployment of the Operations Flight Material Control and Supply functionality in Tririga, the Air Force Civil Engineer’s Next Generation IT Enterprise Asset Management System, and the development and set up of NexGen IT at US Air Force bases across the globe, including Active, Guard, and Reserves. Provide overall Operations Flight Expertise to the AFCEC FMO NexGen IT team and work closely with the AFCEC government SMEs to develop and improve NexGen IT Material Control functionality using expertise of Air Force civil engineer processes and future state requirements. Serve as a deployment feedback mechanism to the team supporting requirements documentation for NexGen IT future capabilities and for improvements for Tririga developers to execute. Participate in the testing of Tririga to ensure that the configured functionality meets the defined requirements. Develop and facilitate training inputs for use of NextGen IT for all levels of client personnel. Confer with and advise subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles.
-10+ years of experience with the Air Force
-10+ years of recent experience with Air Force Civil Engineering Operations activities
-Knowledge of the basic principles of project management
-Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
-Ability to develop and deliver briefings to government clients
-BA or BS degree required
-Experience in working with installation–level Air Force Civil Engineering
-Experience with TRIRIGA a plus
-Experience with working on a geographically dispersed team a plus
-Experience with Operations Flight personnel preferred
-Knowledge of legacy Air Force IT systems used by Operations and Materiel Control personnel, including IWIMS and CEMAS
-Knowledge of Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) collaboration software
-Ability to learn and support broader aspects of CE Operations, Service Contract Management, and Material Control throughout the deployment process, as needed and leverage expertise in related TRIRIGA functionality
-Ability to display flexibility, initiative, and innovation and handle ambiguous, fast–paced situations
-Ability to analyze complex business process issues and present findings and recommendations
-Ability to work independently and manage tasks to timely completion
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
