More information about NSF International can be found at nsf.org.DescriptionOversee and lead all compliance management efforts for NSF and its subsidiaries, supporting overall corporate and financial business objectives.Principal Accountabilities:•Provide strategy, leadership and management in quality to ensure compliance with all appropriate rules, requirements, regulations and standards.•Direct and support the activities of Quality and meet organizational goals and objectives.•Provide strategic leadership in Quality to executive leaders across NSF companies and globally; develop and execute compliance strategies and plans in support of corporate goals and objectives.•Ensure dependable and timely results from Quality staff.•Assist business units in the development of service offerings that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.•Act as the representative for the organization as it pertains to Quality.•Provide guidance and decision making solutions to Business Units, Technical Operations and Senior management in all respects of quality, compliance, and regulations.•Formulate and maintain global quality objectives and coordinate objectives in cooperation with other staff to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize cost.•Create, implement and maintain the annual Quality Safety budget.•Measure the quality performance to assure consistency, value-add, and validation of improvement.•Mentor, manage and develop a high performing staff spanning domestic and global regions.•Build strong peer internal and external working relationships that foster growth of NSF initiatives and places NSF as a leader amongst the conformity assessment community.•Partner closely with department leaders to provide feedback, strategy, project status and direction.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in a related science, business, or related field.•A minimum of seven (7) years experience as a manager; responsibilities of which included direct oversight of a quality system.•Demonstrated expertise in quality systems, managing audits and conformity assessment.•Ability to comprehend a diverse and broad scope of technical issues.•Knowledge of conformity assessment standards.•Proven leadership abilities.•Ability and willingness to travel as needed domestically internationally.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to speak in public.Preferred Qualifications:•Master's degree in a related science or business.•Professional certification in any of the following areas of expertise: quality auditing, quality management, or process/lean management.•Experience working in a laboratory with direct experience with running test procedures.•Experience with international accreditation audits and US regulatory body audit
