Golder Associates is now offering a great opportunity for an entry level Laboratory Technician to join our Atlanta, GA operations. In this role you will have the opportunity work in our Materials Testing Laboratory. Under the direction of seasoned professionals, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Carrying out laboratory tests on geotechnical (soils, aggregates, & rock), geosynthetics (plastics), and concrete to various standards;
Shipping, receiving, logging, handling, storage of and disposal of samples; and
Cleaning, maintaining, repairing and calibration of laboratory testing equipment;

A Scientific College degree is preferred.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
Physical analysis experience is a plus.
Incumbents must have the ability to work overtime hours (including evenings and weekends).
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, possess problem solving abilities and keen mathematical and analytical aptitude. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining strict quality standards is a must.
