We are a dedicated team of science-based colleagues working tomaximize health and wellness for people around the world.We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to work with external and internalcustomers of the Scientific Computing group to plan, develop, and executetests to ensure that user needs are being met. Level will be commensurate withexperience.Key Job Responsibilities: Author verification and validation (V&V) test plans in order todrive collaboration with users and stakeholders, gather feedback, and rework Define verification and validation test cases with sufficient detail forimplementation Automate functional and user interface testing for web applicationsusing a microservice architecture through collaboration with softwaredeveloper Execute validation and verification tests to ensure that productrequirements and user needs have been met and quality assurance and regulatoryprocesses are satisfied Work with the development team during implementation and provide regularfeedback based on development buildsEducationBachelor s or Master s degree, preferably in Systems Engineering,Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalentwork experienceSkills and experience Experience with software quality, testing, V&V, and systemsengineering is required Experience verifying a software product meets specifications throughmanual and automated testing is required Experience writing executable test cases using automation test toolssuch as Cucumber, Selenium, and Junit required Experience with continuous integration pipelines such as Jenkins and useof Lambda functions through Amazon Web Services preferred Experience in web application testing with some exposure to microservicearchitectures using AWS products Experience working with requirements-based testing and within aregulated environment (design control, FDA, CAP/CLIA) is desired Basic data analysis skills are required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with software development processes including Agiledevelopment methods Familiarity with proteomic, genomics, or other high dimensionalitybiological data sets and tools is a plusWork Environment:We are a fun and passionate team from diverse backgrounds with an informaloffice work environment.
