DIDION ETHANOL LLC Electrical Project Engineer in CAMBRIA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: At this time, Didion Milling is in the process of executing a brownfield capital expansion project and is in need of an experienced Electrical Engineer to serve as a member of the core team responsible for oversight and hands-on implementation design, construction, and commissioning activities for the new operations. We are looking for an individual with large capital project experience with an understanding of project management best practices and technical skills that range from electrical power and motor control systems to controls and instrumentation. Responsibilities and Duties: Serve as the lead electrical engineer on the company's core engineering team. Provide oversight and direction to firms contracted by the company to provide electrical design services and construction services. Participate on as part of the team developing P&IDs and General Arrangement drawings. Be a champion for safety within and outside the normal bounds of the electrical function. Ensure that information flows in a timely manner to ensure that external suppliers and engineering groups can work efficiently and without delay. Coordinate with existing facility personnel to ensure that the company's standards and operating expectations are delivered as an end result of the project. Create new engineering work process standards to serve as long term methodologies for future projects. Ensure that functional specifications are written that appropriately reflects the operating strategies. Negotiate and maintain relations with vendors and subcontractors. Ensure that timeline and budget commitments are met. Support Project Manager with electrical project establishment and closeout. Develop and review of complex electrical project calculations. Prepare documented design inputs. Review design inputs and review of engineering drawings. Developed detailed plans consistent with the commissioning strategy and execute to deliver a vertical start-up curve. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of related field and project engineering experience Excellent project management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Field management experience of construction contractors Commissioning and continuous process operations experience Possesses the ability to work collaboratively on a small multi-functional team. Experience developing P&IDs as part of a team desired. Familiarity with Rockwell Automation controls platforms desired. Experience in the agri-business industry and grain milling specifically is strongly desired.
