Bristol Myers Squibb LABORATORY SYSTEMS ENGINEER in Devens, Massachusetts
The Laboratory Systems Engineer will provide support for a laboratory execution platform. Part of a team to ensure reliable 24/7 operation of site and integrated systems. Develop solutions for maintaining and documenting adherence to company policies and procedures for information and control systems.
Qualifications - Qualifications:
A successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Software or Biological/Analytical Chemistry field or relevant degree
At least 2 years of experience preferably in the pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
Experience with GMP, 21CFR Part 11 and lab IT systems is required.
A successful candidate will have knowledge of laboratory automation technologies with emphasis on lab execution systems (preferably SmartLab), Empower CDS, NuGenesis SDS.
Experience with Thermo SampleManager LIMS, Crystal Reports, and a Document Control System such as Emerson DCA would be desirable.
MS Windows Server, MS SQL server, Oracle, and MS SharePoint also a plus.
A successful candidate will possess:
a. Skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups.
b. Experience and/or substantial understanding of lab system principles and common lab instrumentation.
c. Experience with automated laboratory systems and technology.
d. Ability to manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed in a growing fast paced environment.
Excellent written and communication skill are required.
Candidate must have a flexible and creative work style with a goal of attaining excellence.
Be a hands-on individual, willing to take initiative.
Willingness to be on a rotating 24/7 on call schedule is required.
