The Technician may work in any type of location on client premises. This individual performs maintenance on various types of machines. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as personal computers, electronic transmitting and receiving equipment etc.
Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts.
Adjusts functional parts of electronic devices as necessary.
Orders replacement parts.
Inspects completed repairs.
Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
1 year of related work experience.
Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.

Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Wears protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations.
The prime purpose of the Maintenance Planner position is to optimize work efficiency by preparation of the maintenance activities. This includes generation of job plans with basic information on skill, spare parts, tools, duration, acceptance criteria and safety. Priority will be given to pro-active work before modification and failure requests.
/Plan future proactive work for the maintenance technicians by:/
Developing maintenance job plans for all assets, where required to prevent functional failures. Identifying and recording what is needed in order to execute pro-active work (skill, numbers of craftsmen, estimated duration, materials, special tools/equipment, acceptance criteria and essential safety steps). This will allow full schedules to be prepared and enable efficient execution of work.
Generating the routes for PM and PdM inspection work with support from the Reliability Engineer who will ensure the effectiveness of the tasks.
Suggesting and agreeing with the Reliability Engineer PM and PdM program optimization to avoid tasks that do not address specific failure modes.
Verifying materials and special tools/equipment availability to enable efficient work scheduling and execution.
Reviewing all new work order requests for planning to ensure appropriate priority for proactive work.
Work request scoping to enable adequate job plan definition.
Developing detailed work instructions with clear structure to ensure effective execution of more complex work.
Manage and promote plant safety incorporating safety plans, hazards and precautions into daily planning activities for safe work execution.
/Update and maintain equipment history records by:/
Ensuring work order history is updated and feedback from craft is utilized to further improve job plans.
Updating functional location bills of materials to facilitate future planning.
/Support the maintenance and reliability processes by providing assets information for:/
Critical parts definition.
Reorder parameters optimization.
Design and asset definition for new installations.
High school technical qualification (preferably mechanical or electrical) or equivalent knowledge.
Good knowledge of Maintenance process and activities.
Advanced computer skills.
Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Management System.
Minimum 5 years maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of technical English (verbal and written).
Understanding operating context of site assets / process systems.
Working knowledge of applicable PdM technologies such as: Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Infra Red, Ultra Sound, and Motor Circuit Evaluation.
Demonstrated systematic skills.
Ability to organize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
