The North Central Florida IT Consortium is seeking an OPS Computer Network Support Specialist I with a pay at $15 per hour and 40 hours per week beginning as soon as possible. The NCF IT Consortium supports 10 counties in North Central Florida including Alachua; this position will have a work assignment in Gainesville, FL which is subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Must become knowledgeable about clinic services and proficient in using the Health Management System (HMS). Must be able to provide primary support in the Health Management System to end users throughout the 10 county consortium.
This position will assist in monitoring the use of software and hardware through the consortium and provide on-going identification and resolution of user needs through the use of on-site, phone, and remote user support.
Assist, coordinates, installs and implements distributed computer system hardware, software, and communications components including enhancements and upgrades.
Maintains a work plan and schedule for consortium support. Generates and tracks and processes assigned help tickets through the help desk application.
Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to use a state vehicle to travel to remote sites; Must be willing to be available for weekend and/or after hours work. Experience using the State of Florida Department of Health HMS (Health Management System) preferred.
