Features, Verification & Validation - is a global organization using deep customer knowledge to break down customer features into technical requirements. We drive validation plans to reach the requested feature level and secure end customer satisfaction. We also manage the verification plans thanks to world class physical and virtual tests on the complete vehicle such as durability testing in rigs, fuel economy testing, reliability testing with customers and a variety of simulations and tests with trucks on proving grounds and open roads. Job Summary

The mission of the Troubleshooter is to assist in problem solving activities related to ECU or software function issues on vehicles for test. This may include: mechanical labor, prototype development, installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and sensors, setup and maintenance of test rigs, perform tests under direction of test engineer (which will include driving and travel).

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical fault tracing on vehicles being prepared for test.

  • Perform ECU programming and parameter setting.

  • Perform vehicle logging and capture DTCs.

  • Analyze log files and captured DTCs.

  • Support ECU, SW and HW Owner with problem solving activities.

  • Maintain a CDL

  • Status reporting including PR reporting on his function/product

  • Creates and delivers the final reports according to the task request

Education, Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum BSEE or BSME preferred

  • Automotive or Commercial Vehicle experience required

  • 8-10 years experience
