CITIC Dicastal founded in 1988 and is based in Qin Huangdao City, China; and is the worldrsquo;s largest manufacturer of aluminum alloy wheels for the auto industry and offers casting, forging, and spinning wheels. Summary: Dicastal North America is in search for an process engineer to join their growing team. This position is responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ol liEvaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems./li liMaintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers./li liImprove process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards./li liCollect, record, and transcribe data./li liShow results in reports./li liPerform new color and raw material testing./li liDevelop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process./li liProvide suggestions during incident investigations./li liWork with equipment designers and manufacturing engineers to develop a cost-effective and working production process./li liResearch and purchase new manufacturing technology./li liDevelop justifications for new capital expenditures, write the appropriation request, follow up on the purchase of the capital equipment, and manage the timely installation of the equipment./li liAssign ECRrsquo;s to the appropriate function and coordinate the timely completion of all ECRrsquo;s./li liPerform time studies for the development of new labor standards and confirmation of existing standards./li liServe as project leader on various cost reduction or process improvement projects./li liOther duties as assigned by management./li liMaintain engineering records in the MRP system.This includes creating and maintaining the following:/li /ol liPart Masters/li liBills of Materials/li liBills of Operation/li liCustomer Specifications/li liProduct Information Sheets/li /ul Skills and Experience: liB.S. degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering/li liMetallurgical Experience Preferred/li liCasting experience in an automotive setting preferred/li li4-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering position/li liComputer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)/li liWorking knowledge of ERP systems/li liStrong written and oral communication skills with all levels of the company/li li/li /ul
