Provides Sampling, Dispensing, and/or Stability sample management functions to meet the business objectives for the site.
Provides support with problems regarding incoming raw materials, validation samples, in process and finished non-sterile/sterile products and/or stability samples.
Provides support in resolving sample protocol and/or Stand Operating Procedure (SOP) revisions. .
Schedules sample management activities to meet target dates to meet the needs of the supported areas.
Initiates investigations regarding incorrect documentation, labelling, and assists with root cause analysis.
Maintains well-documented laboratory notebooks and records. Approves peer notebook entries as needed.
Enters sample quantities into SAP, LIMs, or SLIM.
Works in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury free and incident-free workplace.
Complies with all job-related safety and other training requirements.
Obtains forklift license as required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
One year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Able to effectively collaborate with others to achieve team goals and expectations.
Possesses a sincere interest in researching and implementation new approaches.
Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.
Effective time management and prioritization skills. Requires discretion and independent judgment.
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 20-50 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
