Relocation AvailableJob SummaryProvides engineering support for base and heavy maintenance for assigned areaof responsibility. Provides engineering support for repairs, parts andmaterial substitutions and alterations. Evaluates manufacturer's maintenancedocuments for applicability to the Air Methods (AMC) fleet. Producesengineering documents to execute alterations and repairs as required and asdirected by management.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:- Review Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins forapplicability to Air Methods' (AMC's) fleet: develop EngineeringOrders to accomplish modifications in response to ADs, Service Bulletins,SILs,- Conduct research and data collection to aid in the development of FleetCampaign Directives, Engineering authorizations, Engineering Orders,engineering Specifications, and other engineering documents- Provide engineering support for base and 145 maintenance to include minorrepair authorizations, parts and materials substitutions, repairs, and reports- Respond to requests for engineering assistance to obtain or develop approvedengineering data when that data is not in the Manufacturers manual,Structural Repair Manual (SRM), or other FAA approved documents- Interact with applicable departments to define, maintain, and optimizethe AMC Approved Aircraft Inspection Program (AAIP) and other maintenanceprogram items- Analyze and determine disposition of all reliability issues and improvements- Evaluate and determine disposition of Beyond Economic Repair (BER) parts- Other duties as assignedAdditional Job Requirements- Regular scheduled attendanceSubject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendanceis an essential function of the position.
