Position Responsibilities: Repair and maintain facility interiors, electrical systems, machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment. Perform special assignments (e.g., new equipment installations, etc.). Perform preventative maintenance duties.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Technical/Vocational Certificate preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years previous experience in troubleshooting
Repair of mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical devices.
Knowledge of PLC’s is required.
Trouble shoot equipment as needed to repair/replace failed components.
Daily departmental inspections of facility support equipment and manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems including P.L.C.'s.
Completion of Project work to be done in a timely manner as assigned.
Assist in the installation and debugging of the process automation system.
Repairs to motors / replacement parts and provide documentation needed to
return stock items to inventory.
Support the needs to manufacturing while observing all safety and GMP requirements recommended by the OEM manufacturer and Berry Plastics.
Completion of Preventative Maintenance schedules as assigned to be conducted and documented on a routine bases.
