Essential Functions

•Develop electrical / electronic parts lists and schematics for new manufacturing equipment.

•Develops and improves programmable logic control ladder logic for new and existing equipment.

•Develops and improves human-machine interface software for new and existing equipment.

•Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

•Recommends changes in circuitry or electronic / electrical specifications to simplify assemble and maintenance.

•Train and develop Electronic Maintenance employees to achieve higher levels.

•Perform general maintenance duties, if needed.

Major Duties

Lay out, build, test and troubleshoot, repair and modify production electronic/electrical components, parts, equipment and systems. May also perform general maintenance duties, if needed. Will also help train and develop other maintenance employees.

•High School Diploma or GED

•Two-year technical degree in an electronics field and two to four years of related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Starting wages as high as $32, based upon education and experience. Additional increases will take place during the first two years of employment. Profit sharing after one year which has averaged 10% of earnings.

This position is located at the McCook, Nebraska manufacturing facility. The McCook plant was built in 1971 and is a major employer in the area. In addition to the production of a variety of low pressure rubber hoses we also produce millions of pounds of rubber compounds. Located near the Kansas and Colorado borders, McCook provides a variety of entertainment and retail opportunities.
