As Sales Engineer, you will be a key part of the Engineering and Sales teams to review both new and existing supply chain challenges, develop customer supply chain solutions, price new business, drive continuous improvements, establish new procedures, and expand on existing business for this leading Midwest third party logistics provider (3PL). With over seven million square feet of multi-temperature and ambient food grade facilities, consisting of twenty three facilities, we are looking for a vibrant confident and effective member to join our team. This role has exposure to all departments and all levels within the company. Responsibilities: Develop storage and handling pricing models for new and existing customers, along with managing annual rate renewal process Key resource for sales and operations team to assist in the management public warehousing customers and space Provide reporting and presentations for sales team members for customer business review meetings Identify and document current and future customer requirements Develop new reporting and metrics in order to realize customer and industry trends Gather data, perform analysis, and organize customer bids and proposals Provide technical sales support and advice based on knowledge of customer, strategy, and industry Perform supply chain network optimization studies for new and existing customers ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience in the logistics industry is a plus, but not required Experience with SQL and/or network analysis tools is a plus, but not required Ability to analyze and improve processes Excellent analytical, problem solving, and data analysis skills Understand contractual commitments and the related impact to solution design Ability to work independently and within a group environment Excellent communication skills with employees at all levels Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle a variety of complex issues and customer requirements Ability to establish and effectively manage projects and timelines Self-driven and confident Ability to travel, as needed ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:
