We're a contract manufacturer of stamped and CNC machined components and we're seeking a Die Designer/Engineer who can develop processes to manufacture sheet metal stampings!!
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity and we're ideally looking for someone who has professional experience in a metalworking environment, preferably metal stamping/machining. It's not 100% necessary but this will really set you apart from the rest of the pack.
This person will be expected to develop engineering processes and communicate effectively with customers and management, and this employee must be able to develop process to manufacture sheet metal stampings as follows:
1.Develop blank shape and determine part mass
2.Develop die layout
a.Type of die (Progressive Die, transfer die, etc.)
b.Determine number of stations required to build part
3.Component Teardown & Assembly BOM Development

What You Need for this Position
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Solidworks are a must.
