Incumbent assists in the interfacing, planning, administrating, and coordinating of NAVAIR Sea Range, Range Data Systems Division (RDSD) systems resources and facilities. In this capacity duties include:

  1. Designated Physical Security Coordinator (SC) to perform security management assisting in approval of protected distribution systems, certification of strong rooms, and designation of controlled access areas. Write/Draft SOPs, supply and insure all log books, working locks, guest books are up to date. Ensure Security inspections and scheduling including Naval Warfare Command (SPAWARS), work with Emergency Assistance Team and PW to repair alarms, panels and repair failed alarms. Attend physical Security meetings. Provide technical support for the acquisition, installation, maintenance, integration and upgrading of security devices and systems (e.g. card access controls, alarms, barriers, gates, intrusion detection system). Monitors installation of security devices and equipment and arrange for maintenance of security equipment as required. Use ingenuity to isolate and define problems related to Physical Security in aged as well as newly built spaces.

  2. Facility Coordinator to provide escort to Fire and Department personnel during inspections. Implement fixes to correct Fire, Health and Safety discrepancies previously identified by Fire and Department personnel. Submit service calls to Sea Range Department Facility Coordinator as needed. Perform repairs and installations to the Sea Range Data System Division's facility.

  3. Organizational Property Accountant (OPA) for Sea Range RDSD. Provide rigorous inventory tracking and asset management; maintaining and ensuring equipment database is updated and current. Organize, access, and dispose DRMO equipment.

Highly qualified applicants will have knowledge and understanding IT management, but not required.

Experience/Education RequiredAbility to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Valid driver license.

Ability to read, speak English.
