Balfour Beatty Construction in San Francisco California is seeking a Project Engineer to work on local job-sites related to K-12 (schools) and higher education (university) projects. Previous or current DSA or OSHPD experience, is very helpful for this role. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials and maintaining schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability and while complying with our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Bachelor of Science degree required.
6 months or more of previous or current commercial construction Project Engineer office or field experience.
Ability to read technical plans.
Must be able to complete RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals, and assisting with sub-contractor meeting minutes.
Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or related Engineering field.
1 year or more of previous or current commercial construction Project Engineer office or field experience.
K-12 or Higher Education project history, helpful, but not required.
Local qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Previous or current DSA or OSHPD experience.
